European Adventures

France
France is closer from Yorkshire than most people realise. Take the overnight ferry from Hull or cross via Eurotunnel, and thousands of free aires, world-class food and landscapes from Normandy beaches to Provencal lavender fields are waiting.
Spain
Most people picture beaches and package holidays, but Spain by motorhome starts with the snow-capped Picos de Europa, Galician seafood markets, and Moorish palaces in Andalucia. From our Pontefract depot, the whole Iberian Peninsula is within reach.
Netherlands
The easiest European motorhome trip from Yorkshire. Board the overnight ferry at Hull, sleep, and drive off in the Netherlands the next morning. Canals, tulip fields, cycling, world-class museums, and immaculate camperplaatsen are all waiting.
Portugal
Portugal sits at the western edge of Europe, and reaching it by motorhome is an adventure in itself. Drive through France and Spain, then spend your days on empty Atlantic beaches, in Lisbon's cobbled lanes, or among the Douro Valley vineyards.
Germany
Germany is arguably the most motorhome-friendly country in Europe. Over 3,500 stellplatze, toll-free autobahns, fairy-tale castles on the Romantic Road, and the Rhine Valley are all just two and a half hours from the Dutch coast after the Hull ferry.
Italy
There is a moment on the drive south when you leave the Alpine tunnels and emerge into Italian sunlight, and everything changes. The lakes, Tuscany, Rome and the Amalfi Coast are all ahead of you, and no other European country packs so much into such a rewarding motorhome trip.
Croatia
The water along Croatia's Adriatic coast is so clear you can see the seabed from the coastal road, and the walled cities that line the shore look like film sets. Over 1,100 miles of coastline, outstanding national parks, and Mediterranean prices that still offer genuine value.
More Destinations
New Forest
The first time a New Forest pony walks past your motorhome window at seven in the morning, entirely unbothered, you understand why this national park is unlike anywhere else. Ancient woodland, open heathland, and over 3,000 free-roaming ponies across 219 square miles.
Isle of Skye
Skye does not do half measures. On a clear day, the view from the Old Man of Storr is one of the finest in Britain. On a wet day, the mountains vanish into cloud, the waterfalls swell, and the Fairy Pools turn an even deeper shade of turquoise.
Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is the largest freshwater loch in Britain - 24 miles long, dotted with over 30 islands, and wide enough at its southern end that the far shore disappears on a misty morning. And it is just four and a half hours from our Pontefract depot.
